Things to consider before
a firearm purchase:
For Women

This mini class introduces the cardinal rules of firearm safety, and things to consider before purchasing a firearm and taking training. This is an interactive lecture event on Zoom videoconference. Class is free.
​Co-Ed classes also available.

​No maximum number of participants.

Women's Handgun Safety and Basic Handgun Operation

This course is for those who have never handled firearms before. Safety, operation, etc. Washington State compliant handgun safety, with dry-fire (laser cartridge) instruction. Certificate upon completion that is acceptable for firearm purchases in the state of Washington. Ther is NO LIVE ammunition fire with this class.

For personalized instruction, classes are for 4 to 6 people at a time only.

Empty Hand Self Protection,
​Self Defense Tools

We offer courses in Empty Hand Self Protection, Less-Than-Lethal Protecton Tools, Tools of opportunity (found tools), and more.

Small groups (2 to 10 people) or larger groups (11 to 20 people) are welcome.
​ Smaller groups would be taught at Seattle Wushu Center, larger groups can be taught the the client's place of work or other location.

Available for Private Lessons

Supplemental private lessons are available for individuals or small groups of 4 or more. However, these are not replacements for group classes such as Empty Hand Self Defense techniques, Firearm Safety Course for Women, or Women's Handgun Fundamentals 1. Either of those classes are pre-requisite for supplemental private training and private coaching.

Women's & Teen Girls Self Protection and Self Defense

This workshop will consist of lecture/powerpoint and actual  physical learning.. We'll cover myths & realities of self defense, use of force, WA state self defense legal aspects, and learning effective hands-on self defense techniques. Session is approximately 2.5 hours, but may go a little longer if participants would like.
